Bildungsstätte Knivsberg

The Knivsberg Educational Centre is the cultural centre and meeting place of the German minority in North Schleswig. In addition to the German minority, the offers are addressed to all European citizens. Major public events such as open-air concerts, readings and cultural evenings are included as well as, of course, the Knivsberg Festival.

Furthermore, meeting rooms, a theatre hall with a big stage, a large leisure area, sports fields and team-building opportunities provide a completely successful workshop and recreational stay on the Knivsberg. Disc golf, climbing in the high ropes course and beach volleyball can also be booked. Of course, our huts and rooms are also available to you.

Knivsberg belongs to the Deutsche Jugendverband für Nordschleswig (The German Youth Association for North Schleswig). We want to make Knivsberg a place where everyone feels good. We value democracy, for equality and anti-discrimination. Accordingly, we expect our guests to share these values and reserve the right to make use of our domiciliary rights in the event of violations of these principles.

We try to make the site as barrier-free as possible – unfortunately, however, not all rooms and paths are accessible without thresholds.
